Electrical Properties: SWCNTs can exhibit either metallic or semiconducting behavior depending on their chirality (twist) and diameter. This allows for their use in a wide range of electronic and optoelectronic devices, such as field-effect transistors (FETs), sensors, and conductive films.
High Strength and Flexibility: SWCNTs are among the strongest and most flexible materials known. Their tensile strength is much higher than that of steel, while they can also undergo significant deformation without breaking. This makes them ideal for reinforcing materials, creating ultra-strong composites, and in applications requiring materials with exceptional mechanical properties.
Thermal Conductivity: They exhibit very high thermal conductivity along their length, making them suitable for applications requiring efficient heat dissipation, such as in thermal interface materials, heat sinks, and electronics cooling solutions.
